Gomathi, a native of Kanyakumari, Tamilnadu, the southernmost tip of India, currently resides in the United Arab Emirates. Having grown close to the nature including sea, mountains and plains, she developed a deep understanding and love for the nature and environment. For her painting is life and the creative journey has been more interesting and fulfilling. Being an artist, she is able to visualize the emotions and thoughts of different people in different walks of life. She brings out their emotions, thoughts in her own way. She is largely influenced by nature, urban life, her life’s journey and experiences and the environment. Realism and Surrealism are her forte and favorite medium is Oil. She has won many local and international awards around the globe and is an active participant in many World Events.
